VGG Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains the privacy principles applicable to VGG and the official VGG website and related services.

VGG is a blockchain-based digital token issued on a public blockchain. The use, holding, receipt, or transfer of VGG does not by itself require users to create an account or provide personal information to the VGG issuer.

1. VGG Is a Blockchain Token

VGG exists and operates on public blockchain infrastructure.

Users may hold, receive, and transfer VGG directly through compatible blockchain wallets.

The VGG issuer does not automatically know the identity of a wallet owner merely because that wallet holds or transfers VGG.

In ordinary blockchain transactions, VGG does not require users to provide information such as:

  • legal name;
  • home address;
  • telephone number;
  • email address;
  • government identification; or
  • other personally identifying information.

A blockchain wallet address is generally represented as a cryptographic address and does not, by itself, identify the real-world person controlling that address.

2. Public Blockchain Information

Blockchain networks are public by design.

Transactions involving VGG may therefore be publicly visible and may include information such as:

  • wallet addresses;
  • VGG balances;
  • transaction amounts;
  • transaction hashes;
  • block numbers and timestamps;
  • smart-contract interactions; and
  • token transfers.

This information is recorded by the underlying blockchain network and is not privately collected by VGG.

Anyone using a compatible blockchain explorer or blockchain node may be able to view this information.

VGG does not control the public nature of blockchain records.

3. We Do Not Identify VGG Holders

VGG does not attempt to identify individuals solely because they hold or transfer VGG.

A wallet address visible on the blockchain does not necessarily reveal the identity of its owner.

Unless a user voluntarily provides identifying information through a separate VGG-operated service, VGG may have no way to determine who controls a particular blockchain address.

VGG does not maintain a registry connecting every VGG holder with a real-world identity.

4. Blockchain Transactions Are Independent of the VGG Website

VGG tokens can exist independently of the official VGG website.

Users may interact with VGG using third-party wallets, blockchain applications, exchanges, decentralized exchanges, smart contracts, or other compatible services.

VGG does not receive personal information simply because a user transfers VGG between blockchain addresses.

Closing the VGG website or discontinuing a particular interface would not remove transaction records already recorded on the blockchain.

5. Official Website

When you visit the official VGG website, limited technical information may be processed by the web infrastructure necessary to deliver the website.

Depending on the technical configuration of the website, this may include information such as:

  • network requests;
  • basic server logs;
  • browser information;
  • security-related information; and
  • information necessary to maintain website functionality.

This information relates to use of the website and should not be considered information automatically collected from all VGG holders.

Holding VGG without visiting a VGG-operated website does not cause this website information to be collected by VGG.

6. Wallet Connections

Certain VGG interfaces may allow users to connect a blockchain wallet.

When a wallet is connected, the interface may access information made available by the wallet or public blockchain, including:

  • public wallet address;
  • blockchain network;
  • VGG balance;
  • supported token balances; and
  • transaction information.

VGG does not require or request your private key or recovery phrase.

Private keys normally remain under the control of the user’s wallet.

Users should never disclose their private key or recovery phrase to anyone claiming that it is required to use VGG.

7. Blockchain Signatures

Some VGG functions may require a user to sign a blockchain message or transaction.

A blockchain signature is used to demonstrate control of a wallet or authorize a blockchain transaction.

Signing a blockchain transaction does not normally disclose the user’s private key.

Users are responsible for reviewing transaction details before providing a cryptographic signature.

8. Information You Voluntarily Provide

VGG may receive personal information when a user voluntarily contacts or communicates with us.

For example, if you contact VGG support by email, we will necessarily receive the email address and information contained in your message.

Such information may be used only as reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to your request;
  • provide support;
  • investigate technical problems;
  • prevent abuse; or
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Providing such information is separate from simply holding or transferring VGG on the blockchain.

9. Third-Party Wallets and Services

Users may interact with VGG through independent third-party services, including:

  • blockchain wallets;
  • centralized exchanges;
  • decentralized exchanges;
  • blockchain explorers;
  • payment providers;
  • DeFi protocols; and
  • other blockchain applications.

These services are independent from VGG and may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

For example, an exchange may require identity verification even though the VGG token itself does not.

VGG is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party services.

10. No Custody of Private Keys

Unless explicitly stated for a separate custodial product, VGG does not hold or manage users’ private keys.

Users remain responsible for protecting their:

  • private keys;
  • recovery phrases;
  • wallet passwords; and
  • wallet devices.

The VGG issuer generally cannot recover a user’s wallet or reverse a blockchain transaction if access credentials are lost.

11. Immutable Blockchain Records

Public blockchain records may be permanent.

Once a VGG transaction has been confirmed on the blockchain, VGG generally cannot:

  • delete the transaction;
  • modify the transaction history;
  • change the sending or receiving address;
  • hide the transaction from blockchain explorers; or
  • erase the transaction from independently operated blockchain nodes.

This characteristic is inherent to public blockchain technology.

12. Relationship Between Blockchain Data and Personal Information

A blockchain address does not necessarily identify a natural person.

However, a wallet address may potentially become associated with an individual if that person publicly discloses ownership of the address or provides the address to a third party that knows their identity.

Such associations may also be created by independent exchanges, analytics providers, blockchain researchers, or other third parties.

VGG does not control how independent third parties analyze publicly available blockchain information.

13. Cookies and Website Analytics

The official VGG website may use essential technical storage or cookies where necessary for website functionality.

If analytics or other non-essential tracking technologies are used, information regarding those technologies may be disclosed separately and consent will be obtained where required by applicable law.

The use of website cookies or analytics does not mean that VGG can identify every holder of VGG tokens.

14. Disclosure of Information

VGG does not sell a database identifying VGG token holders.

Information voluntarily provided directly to VGG may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to:

  • operate the relevant service;
  • protect the security of our systems;
  • investigate abuse or fraud;
  • comply with applicable law; or
  • respond to valid legal processes.

Public blockchain information does not require disclosure by VGG because that information is already independently available through the blockchain network.

15. Data Retention

Information voluntarily provided directly to VGG may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received or as required by applicable law.

Blockchain records are different.

Public blockchain data may remain available indefinitely because copies of the blockchain may be maintained by independent nodes and other network participants.

VGG generally has no ability to delete those independent records.

16. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights concerning personal information directly controlled by VGG.

Such rights may include requesting access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information.

These rights apply only where VGG actually possesses or controls the relevant personal information.

They do not necessarily apply to public blockchain records that VGG cannot modify or erase.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the VGG ecosystem, website, technical infrastructure, or applicable legal requirements change.

Any updated version will be published through the official VGG website together with a revised “Last Updated” date.
